Baby proofing time.

So we're trying to figure out what to do with our cats' litterbox when Mateo starts becoming more mobile. We can't put it outside. We can't put it in the bathroom (our cats are smart, but not smart enough to open the door to the bathroom, which is the only way to keep Mateo out of the litterbox if it was in the bathroom), no room can be permanently closed off, no closets, no nothing. No where to go.

I was looking up suggestions online, and came across this fabulous drawing for a dog-proof litterbox setup:
