I wasn't called in to jury duty. My life, as I know it, remains the same.
My husband is happy because this means his life won't be interrupted, and my child, he doesn't know what the heck is going on, but that boy loves his routines, and man oh man, would his routines be massively out of whack if I had to trudge to Oakland for days on end.
I am free for another year.
