First ever no computer and minimum TV day is over!

And, surprisingly, we all survived!

However, I found out my husband cheated a few times (he said only once, but I know it was more than that) and was looking at his stupid MMA videos online, was on Facebook, looked at Perezhilton and who knows what else.

I have to admit, at first I felt a little like I was going mad because I'm so used to having my laptop stuck to me where ever I go in our condo. And there were a few things I wanted to look up but couldn't. And I was wondering about my e-mails. And if anyone was looking at my blogs. And if anyone missed me. And how that game of Scrabble was left because the last move was played Friday night and I was half asleep.

But by mid-day, I was okay. In fact, it was nice. My husband and I spent a lot of time together WITH Mateo instead of one of us with him with the other was off doing something else.

After we ate dinner and watched an hour of Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmare re-visit special, we both declared the day over and ran into our bedroom to get onto the computer.

Today is back to normal. Normal meaning, I have my laptop glued to me, my husband is trying to watch all the MMA videos he can online, and that Scrabble game from Friday is going stong. Mateo, on the other hand, hasn't watched as much TV as he normally does, but more because I'm getting really sick of all the kid shows he watches. I put on music videos from Comcast's On Demand feature this morning to save my sanity.

Video of a very cute rocker can be found over here.

:) I've been on my computer all weekend! But not doing any blog reading or posting...
But there have been several days lately that i've not turned the computer on until the little ones have gone to bed. It's kind of nice for everyone :) but it's too easy to get sucked into computer stuff.

Hehe I'm sure in his mind it was only cheating just a little.

Any luck finding a recipe for a healthier pesto? There seems to be a healthy way to make pretty much everything these days without compromising taste too badly.

@lil miss hissyfit: I managed to find something, although I haven't tried it yet. Here's the link:

I've made healthy pesto before, but I have no clue where I got the recipe from. If you like cilantro, I would think this recipe would be good regardless of how much oil is added.

@kmommy: Mateo gets really jealous of my laptop sometimes. That's when I realized I had a problem. A serious laptop addiction! : )

LOL! Same here! If I open my laptop it's instant chaos and turmoil... baby fingers and mouths all over my laptop. I can get away with it only during breakfast and lunch...

Thanks for your congrats! :) I will be teaching English Comp I and a course on Professional Development & Interpersonal Skills (kind of a business communications class mixed with how to study - they like to have english people teach it).
