Two shows I'm loving.

Ice Road Truckers (when I told my husband how I was dying to watch this, he confusedly asked, "Really?..." Yes! Really!!!) and Cities of the Underworld (loving this shows doesn't need an ounce of explanation), both on The History Channel. My husband is watching the series Human Weapon, also on The History Channel.

See, I knew adding The History Channel to our favorite channel line-up would come in handy some day. Who knew history could be so much fun?

Sometimes fiction does really imitate life. Sometimes that's really sad.

As soon as I read, "A 6-year-old girl who sat over an open drain hole in a wading pool had part of her intestinal tract torn out by the drain's powerful suction, her family said.," my file-o-fax of literature memories started flipping and landed on Chuck Palahniuk's short story "Guts."

I guess there is no such thing as pure imagination.
